FUN FUN FUN weekend!

So after a long, hard 3 weeks filled with long nights of school and work we finally arrived at Spring Break!! It was such a fun weekend beginning with a day at the slopes with Jon's brother Ben and his friend Bridgett. It was a perfect day, nice fresh snow, SO much fun! 

Look at this husband... is he cute or what? Sorry, just cant help it... He has not smiled like that for 3 weeks so it was refreshing to have him back. :)

Then on Sunday we got to have cute little (not really little, he is a TANK) nephew Isaiah for most of the day.  We took him to church and got a little taste of what parenthood will be... pretty fun stuff! And yes we are feeding him with a rubber spatula... Mom forgot to pack one of those little rubber spoons...

Simple.... just lift foot into mouth and enjoy! Silly baby!

Then Sunday afternoon we spent the evening at our friends Gretchen and Brady's for dinner, LOTS of laughing and a serious game of Spoons.  Thanks for hosting guys!!

I stole these pictures from Gretchen's blog and I had to post this one.... This was our "dinner" and it was uuuuuunreal! It feels wrong to call this a meal because it is just fried stuff with alfredo, cheese, meat, alfredo, cheese, meat... you get the idea... so bad.... but sooooooooo good!

NEWS

So the votes are in and the verdict is we are NOT going to move to Boston! I am trying not to sound too excited because Jon was really wanting to move out there.... but turns out the school is not that great out there + the cost of living out there + cost of moving + cost of everything out there + trying to sell our house here right now, with all the negatives we could just not make it worth it to move out there for such a short time. I am a little sad becasue I know the experience would have been really great for us both, but I would have been so sad to leave everything we have here, good friends, family, nice place to live... what can I say, I dont have very adventurous blood. :)

So if you have some serious time on your hands you should totally do this! I didnt think there was a chance I could make it to 100, but as you go you think of all this stuff and remmeber all this stuff about yourself.... its pretty cool!

More Boston

Ok so I look like a weird little elf or something in this picture but this is seriously the 1st thing we did when we got to Boston... straight to the warm clothes section at the nearest Macy's! It was SO cold!

This was probably my favorite part of the trip... This is Newbury Street aka shopping central!! It had everything under the sun! Lots of cute little shops and boutiques. I could have spent some serious time and money here if I didn't have Jon with me.

This is the Boston temple... about 30 minutes from downtown so we drove down there after church on Sunday. We figured this was the only time we could park in this spot so we took advantage.

Anyway, I think thats about all there was in Boston. It was a good trip for us to really see what life would be like there... We will find out for sure in a couple of weeks if this is where we will be going for Jons school...
