We love summer

Oh summer makes me happy. So very happy.

We have had so much fun already and we are only half way through the season! This has been my funnest summer in a long time now that I am not working full time and have the freedom to go places with Ollie. It's been so nice to be outside all summer and actually enjoy each day. I feel so incredibly blessed to be able to stay home with my sweet little man and make these awesome memories with him, doing some of my favorite things. Lucky girl here!

To start off, first trip to the lake! If you know anything about me, you know I LIVE to go to the lake (especially lake powell, but any lake with a boat and a board will do just fine).

We spent the weekend in St. George and were able to take my parents boat out with our good friends Ryan, Danna and Scarlett. It was so, so fun! Ollie and Lettie did so good and totally loved hanging out together on the boat or in the dirt.

And by the end of the day, both the kids were totally zonked out, in whatever position they happened to be in. So cute.

Also while in St. George, we were able to attend little Georgie Porgie's 1st Birthday!

We were trying to stand the two little cousins next to each other to see how close they were in size these days but Ollie was not having it.

It was such a fun party and so fun to see my little nephew in all his glory on his big day. Love you Georgie!!

Last, but certainly not least was a girls only (+ Ollie) trip to Santa Monica with my Mom, Best friend Bevin and her Mom (and my Mom #2) Patty. Holy smokes it was so incredibly fun!! I felt like the biggest pampered little pet ever. We played at the beach, rode bikes, shopped, ate, repeat. And to top it off, Ollie was a total gem the entire time! What a man!

I thought the cold, crashing water would scare him but he had no fear! Loved it!

This is a little glimpse of the house we stayed at (THANK YOU JER!!!!). It's right across the street from the beach so I would just stand in this balcony and stare at the beautiful ocean and smell the fresh air... heaven I tell you.

Bev found a real beauty to ride here.

Had to take the Segways out for a little spin. They are such a hoot. People look at you so funny of they have never seen one before.

This was really cool... this is what it looks like walking under the pier in the middle of the day with the light filtering through all the little holes.

I tell you, with all the craziness, little O was just all tuckered out by the end of the day. And so to unwind, a little baby einstein with his favorite blankee was just the ticket.

And once refreshed, he was ready for more party!!

What a cute baby I have :) I love him.
