Boston

So we are back from our trip to Boston and these are some of the highlights...

This is the reason we went on the trip... The Boston Architectural College.  Jon had a meeting with a counselor and found out a little more about the program.  It was a pretty cool school, right down town in the middle of some serious shopping! Good stuff...

This is the Boston Library.  Jon took some pretty cool pictures in there.

Gormet dining....

These geese were so funny! We were in the car and Jon was about to run them over but they just sat there!  So I rolled down the window to yell at them to move and as soon as they heard my window crack they all turned and started running towards the car... I dunno, it was just funny at the time I guess :)

These are a few pictures from the New England Aquarium.  It was pretty cool too, mostly because of the penguins.... If you know me at all, you know they are my favorite!  I must have taken a million pictures of them.... so cute!

There are more pictures to come but my computer is having a bit of a struggle so hang tight and there will be more to come...

Valentines Day

So this was the first of many surprises that showed up at work.  I love love love flowers and this boquet had all my favorites and it smelled soooooo good!  I wish you could add smell to a blog...
And this is what I got when I got home!  My cute husband was the chef and waiter for the night!  He was all dressed up, had the house all clean, had the table all set with our best stuff, the martinellis on ice (haha, I love that stuff!) and had dinner ready!  It was so so so nice!  I teased him the other day about not being able to cook but I take that back now! It was such a good dinner!
He even made a fancy dessert with all the swirly things. YUM!
And THIS was my last surprise!  For those of you who are not familiar with WACA, it is a very important organization and support group for wives who HATE the school of architecture because it steals or husbands away from us with it's INSANE hours and impossible projects!  Ok so it's not real, but one of Jon's earlier school projects was to design a logo and he asked me what he should do, and the first thing that came to my mind was WACA- Wives Against the College of Architecture.  So he designed it and got an A on the project.  After that I kept telling him I wanted a shirt with my logo.... and here it is!

So that was my amazing Valentines Day! It's probably not as thrilling to any of you but I am a sucker for cheesy stuff like this, I just loved it!  Thanks so much to my wonderful husband for putting all the effort and thought and work into making this a special Valentines for me!  You definately got an A+++ on this assignment!
You are so amazing and I love you to pieces!

P.S. All I did for Jon was get him architecture books and some chocolate covered strawberries.... I think I got a C- on my assignment :(  I will do better next year!

Clarification

Referring to the last post... We are NOT the carriers of baby #4. I had a comment and 2 text messages about that so sorry if that was confusing! We wish though :(

TOO CUTE!!

Ok so I stole this from my Mom's blog so this is a repeat for my family, but I just LOVE this picture! Allie (far right) is pulling the funniest face! Anyway, neices are the best thing ever (besides your own kids I'm sure). Plus, look at my Mom!! Is she a babe or what? Serious, she does not look like a Grandma to 3! (soon to be 4!! yay!)

This is JONS color... same as my dad (they are practically one in the same) and RIGHT on!! ( besides the part about evening gowns and tuxedos)

Take this test!
Your color is black. The color of night. Serene and mysterious, black conjures up images of elegant evening gowns, dashing tuxedos, and gleaming limousines. Traditionally a symbol of success, black also represents power and an uncompromising demand for perfection. Not surprisingly, you tend to set challenging goals for yourself and do whatever it takes to achieve them — your strength of character is second to none. This unfaltering determination, along with your natural elegance, impresses people. But keep in mind that your personality might be intimidating to some. Try to temper your demanding side with a little softness — trust us, it won't kill you. Overall, though, black is the color of professionalism and achievement, which means it's clearly the color for you.

I'm not sure about this one....

Take this test!

You're a bold, confident orange. A warm, powerful color that indicates a strong, welcoming personality, orange is the mark of people who are social and extroverted by nature. Vibrant, with an upbeat attitude, you have a bright, inviting demeanor. Energetic and fun-loving, you're a real friend-magnet. Your easy charm and unassuming manner make you the sort of person people want to meet and get to know better. Well-rounded and fun to be around, you enjoy helping others, so it's no surprise that orange also symbolizes attraction. Orange is an extraordinary color — for an extraordinary person.
