I usually don't do these tag things but I don't have anything else to do at the moment (which I am loving). Jon's home today, we went to breakfast, went on a walk, been playing with Oliver, what else could I possibly do? Plus Ashlie tagged me and it's like in elementary school when someone dares you, or like double dog dares you... you have no choice but to do it!

You probably know the rules, you have to take a picture of these things as is, no cleaning. Lucky for me I made my bed today :)

I really love Oliver's nursery too, but I already posted that. This is our master bedroom. It's so relaxing feeling, I love it.

Bathroom

This one not so relaxing, and not clean. But hey at least I am following the rules!! Notice, it's only my stuff spread all over the counter. My hubby is such a good sport.

Nothing too exciting here.

Favorite Shoes

My Mommy shoes, they are flat and comfy and I love them. Ask me 4 months ago and I would have posted some 4 inch, purple heels.

What matters

Today, I feel selfish and embarrassed for my last post. I'm not gonna delete it because I want it to be a reminder of how I feel today. I was just playing around in posting it, but the truth is that I wanted those things yesterday. Today, not so much.

Today I read THIS it's a long story, but well worth the time to read.

Most of you probably know that the do-gooder in this article is my brother. And reading it brought me to tears. I'm not sure if I felt guilty for my own selfishness, touched by his example, or proud... probably a combination of all 3. But I feel so differently now.

I certainly feel a need to change and I think I will.

3 months (warning, picture overload)

This handsome fella, is 3 months old today.

He is so happy...

usually...

but even that pouty little face makes me smile.

and those beautiful blue eyes, never get old.

and we have never been happier

This boy knows just how to charm the socks off of his parents (see picture above). I would do absolutely anything for him. He makes every single day so much fun.

At 3 months Oliver
- is actually wearing 3 month clothes! He's growing so fast.
-is really smiley for mommy and daddy but can be pretty stingy around strangers
-is busy busy busy, always kicking and cooing
-sleeps 3-5 hour stretches at night (usually 3, but he's getting better)
-still fascinated by lights, ceiling fans and blinds
-is comforted best by mommy, but smiles more for daddy
-is absolutely adorable

P.S. I got my camera fixed and I wanna start taking pictures again. I know I am a beginner but that just means I'm cheap :) Let me know if you want some fresh family pictures!

Almost laughs

Oliver is usually pretty stingy with his smiles but today he thought I was being soooo funny when I made clicking noises. We haven't seen a real laugh out of him yet but this was getting pretty close. Doesn't he melt your heart? Or is it just mine?
